Human Practice Foundation: A New Partnership in Kenya for Teach2030

The Human Practice Foundation works with schools in the rural areas of Kenya, specifically in the Mount Kenya and Maasai Mara regions. There, they aim to rebuild school infrastructure and train teachers, with a key focus on pedagogy.

With our Teach2030 platform providing professional development through low data, contextualised courses, workshops, teaching tips and resources, the Human Practice Foundation has partnered with us for 4 courses: Independent LearningFormative Assessment; Practical Active Learning; and Growth Mindset. Together, we will work with 400 teachers in 35 schools to help them to upskill their practice.

Kenya has made massive strides in literacy, rising from 72% in 2007 to 83% in 2021. The government prioritizes providing education to over 16 million children, with a focus on equality and gender parity. The country has focused on expanding secondary education, improving teacher training, and increasing access to tertiary institutions to create a skilled workforce. Despite these strengths, challenges like teacher shortages and regional disparities remain. Teach2030 is proud to support Kenya in its ambition to provide quality education to all.

We are looking forward to working with them.
