Welcome to Teach2030’s World Teachers’ Day competition – One Big Question
The aim of the competition is for students decide on the biggest question they can ask about the world they live in.
To take enter this competition, follow these steps:
- Take our Asking Questions in your Classroom course and How to prepare your competition entry course, which give you all the knowledge and details on how to prepare your entry. You’ll earn a certificate for completing both Part 1 and Part 2 of Asking Questions in your Classroom.
- If you have not taken a Teach2030 course before we recommend completing our Introduction to Teach2030 course first.
- Prepare your entry and submit it here! Learners have to answer it in groups or pairs. This can be presented back in any format they choose. Examples could include, but are not limited to: a science experiment, a sculpture, reciting or writing a poem, writing an article, designing a model, a short piece of drama or dance, performing a song or piece of music. The time limit for each entry is 5 minutes. It might be hard to find time to complete the competition during curriculum hours, so it can also be done in extra-curricular time. One entry per teacher and this is to be submitted by Friday 14th February 2025.
- We will then invite you to the grand finals of the competition, in which we will announce the winners during Commonwealth Week in March 2025. Date to be confirmed.
